Depth Strider is a boots enchantment that reduces the movement slowdown caused by water. Level III lets a grounded player move horizontally in water at roughly land speed.

How the mechanic works
- Each level removes one third of the water movement slowdown while the player is on the ground.
- The enchantment does not increase vertical swimming speed.
- Depth Strider and Frost Walker are mutually exclusive in normal survival enchanting.

How to obtain
- Enchant compatible equipment at an enchanting table.
- Apply a matching enchanted book at an anvil.
- Find or trade for an enchanted book that contains this enchantment.
