How the mechanic works
- Without Aqua Affinity, breaking blocks underwater is five times slower than normal.
- The enchantment restores ground-based underwater mining speed, but being unsupported in water still applies the separate airborne mining penalty.
- It does not increase swimming speed or underwater breathing time.

How to obtain
- Enchant compatible equipment at an enchanting table.
- Apply a matching enchanted book at an anvil.
